I agree, but I'd use Freezing Gust instead of Ice Spikes.

Shatterstone "spikes" better, is about the gist of it, that and it also doesn't require line of sight. So if you're going to talk "pressure" then trident is a fine choice - and a competitive one in RA at least.

In GvG Shatterstone is usually used on Split characters. Since their goals is to eliminate Npc's, they want dmg because of that is Shatterstone is preferd.
Shatterstone kills Trident doesnt.

Shatterstone is big domage.
Water trident is decent domage and powerful KD.
Both are good.

Because there is one and only one thing going through the typical RA scrubs' head:
"OMFG BIG DAMMICH!@!@!@"
Nobody cares about the other mechanics of the game besides BIG DAMMICH. Maybe blinding... but mostly BIG DAMMICH.

killing shit with Shatterstone is great but KD from Trident is also absolutely annoying. they both have their advantages.

The kd from trident would be more effective if it was triggered by more than just moving targets. It is a very effective spell. but I honestly believe there are allot of effective Elementalist elites that people don't build the right bar to go with. the support skills for an elite and your ability to stack skills with it makes it worth while.

This is a good build. Very balanced and good with support. However, I don't like Ice Spikes as much as the Shard Storm.
I would also choose Blurred Vision over Enfeeble.

Attribute Spread?
With 4 Attributes you're probably running what?
12/8/8/7 or 12/9/9/3 before runes?
Water Trident + Stonefist Insignia (for Warriors) is mean. Anyone remember the old Abominable Snowman pre-built PvP from early 2006? iirc, it used WT as its Elite.
